A time served mechanical engineer. Alastair has been involved in a number of senior positions within industry which includes; design engineering, sales management, general management and director level in high tech industries.

During the past decade he has been engaged in various public funded programmes which have been responsible for delivering assistance to individuals and companies in new product development.
